A Tunnel Boring Lift, Hydraulic Gantries 101, LGH Rigging Planning, & More

2026 is in full swing, and the springtime thaw is just around the corner. Not just in the meteorological sense, but in a project sense, too. And here’s the million-dollar question: do you feel prepared for 2026?

At LGH, “prepared” is our middle name (actually, our middle name is “Gear”, but just roll with it). As we boldly step into the uncertainty that every new year brings, we are constantly looking for ways to serve you better.

We don’t think of ourselves as just an equipment rental company; we are the premier rigging and lifting solutions experts. So how do the solution experts better help you prepare?

In case you missed our official announcement last week, LGH is now offering lift plan rigging configuration as an optional add-on for qualifying projects. Recent LGH hire Taylor Savage has joined the team as our designated Lift Planner, bringing a background in mechanical drafting and years of lift planning experience from the crane industry.

So what exactly does this mean for you? Taylor explains,

“Instead of customers going to an engineering firm first, then coming to us to rent equipment, they can send us their load, and we provide a rigging configuration along with the quote. If the configuration is followed correctly on-site, the lift should pick level without having to set it down, add shackles, or reconfigure things.”
