LGH Canada Newsletter: March 2026

Bridge Lifting Essentials, X Beam Lift, Beam Clamps 101, and more

Hey there,

I’d like to start the LGH Newsletter this month with a quick look behind the scenes at our training initiatives. A lot of companies preach safety, but at LGH, we put our money where our mouth is.

Expert training = expert solutions

LGH recently partnered with Koch Skanska, alongside Kito Crosby and Enerpac, to educate junior engineers on proper rigging equipment use and lift planning (pictured left).

At our internal 101 and 201 training sessions, National LGH Trainers Chris Kinder and Andrew Page led training sessions and provided thorough insight for maintaining the integrity of our equipment.

These training sessions provide hands-on experience and real-world knowledge not just to our warehouse teams but to our partners out in the field, too.

At LGH, lifting safety is at the core of everything we do. Our commitment goes beyond compliance; it’s about delivering peace of mind, job after job.

LGH YouTube Video: Beam Clamps 101

Need a fast, secure way to create an anchor point for your lift? In our latest YouTube video “Beam Clamps: 101,” Aaron Orsak breaks down everything you need to know about beam clamps. From fixed and swivel-jaw super clamps to adjustable and beam-to-beam options, you’ll learn how each type works and when to use them.

Discover how beam clamps improve safety, speed up setup, and adapt to a wide range of lifting applications. These clamps are a must-have for many bull rigging setups.

LGH Onsite: X Beam Air Chiller Lift

LGH Canada recently supplied wire rope slings and our brand new telescopic Aluex X-Beam to assist Zencorp Mechanical with an air handler lift.

LGH Rental Representative Moh Ayyad worked with Zencorp to conquer this lift, suggesting the ultra-lightweight 30T X-Spreader Beam as the perfect below-the-hook rigging solution. Smart lifting plans like these are essential when lifting in tight locations like the urban Toronto area.
