LGH Introduces Lift Planning Services for Safer, Smarter Lifts
LGH is excited to introduce Lift Planning, a new service designed to help customers plan complex lifts more safely, efficiently, and confidently before equipment ever reaches the jobsite.
As part of this new offering, LGH welcomes Taylor Savage, who has joined the team as our dedicated Lift Planner. Taylor brings a background in mechanical drafting and design, as well as prior lift planning experience from the crane industry. He will work closely with LGH rental representatives and customers to support pre-lift decision-making on challenging projects.

Supporting Smarter Lifts Before They Happen
Lift Planning provides customers with expert, pre-lift support for projects involving heavy, awkward, or non-standard loads. When customers share drawings or details of the equipment they need to lift, LGH can develop a rigging configuration that clearly illustrates how the lift should be assembled and executed.

Example of a lifting plan from LGH.
These configuration drawings help crews:
-
• Visualize the rigging setup before mobilization
-
• Account for multiple pick points and offset center of gravity
-
• Select appropriate rigging equipment for the application
-
• Reduce jobsite surprises and rework
The result is a smoother, more predictable lift that is planned correctly the first time.
A Turnkey Approach to Rigging Support
Lift Planning enhances LGH’s role as a problem-solving partner, not just a rental provider. Rather than customers coordinating separately with third parties during the planning phase, LGH can now support both equipment selection and lift configuration as part of the rental process on qualifying projects.
This service is especially valuable for customers facing:
-
• Restricted access or limited headroom
-
• Tight schedules or critical path lifts
-
• Complex load geometry
-
• Elevated safety requirements
Lift Planning is available as an additional expenditure, focusing on applications where added planning support delivers the most value.
Built to Complement the Jobsite, Not Complicate It
LGH Lift Planning is designed to provide practical guidance without overcomplicating the process. Configuration drawings serve as clear, easy-to-follow references that crews can use on-site to assemble rigging efficiently and with confidence.
As this service continues to evolve, LGH remains focused on helping customers work safer, smarter, and more efficiently on every lift. Customers interested in Lift Planning can contact their LGH representative to learn more about how this service may support upcoming projects.
